Where we are going
Valley Community Bible Church exists to glorify GOD by making more & better followers of Jesus Christ through developing a culture of gospel-centered worship, gospel-centered community, gospel-centered discipleship and gospel-centered mission (1 Cor. 15:1-5; Acts 2; Mt. 28:16-20; Eph. 4:11-16). Very simply we are seeking to grow as a Great Commandment (love God, love others) and Great Commission (go and make disciples) church. So as a church whose mission is to develop fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ, we talk about developing a ministry supported by 4 Ministry Pillars. We have summarized this journey in four words: Worship, Connect, Equip, and Launch.
Pillar #1: Worship…
Gospel Centered Worship
Are you growing in your love for Jesus?
Here at Valley we want to meet you where you are and connect you to Jesus Christ through life-changing worship. Life and the church and ministry is all about worshiping Jesus who is our Great God, Savior, and Life-giver! Worship is to be in ‘spirit and in truth’ (John 4), which means with hearts that go hard after Jesus as our soul’s delight as well as minds that are pursuing the truth of God in His Word which brings ongoing transformation to our lives (John 17:17; 2 Cor. 3:18)
Pillar #2: Connect
Gospel-Centered Community
Are you growing in your love for others?
We worship a God who has eternally existed as a Community-Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We were therefor made for community-a relationship with GOD and with each other. The local church is not merely a place that we attend but a people to whom we belong. As we grow in loving and worshiping Him we will grow in loving one another as brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus and loving our neighbors with the love of Jesus (this is the definition of biblical hospitality = the love of strangers). If Jesus Christ is our life then we will be controlled by His love and seeking to spread His love to others. Because of this we desire to be a grace-full, joy-filled and hospitable people who love and welcome others as Jesus has loved and welcomed us.

Gospel-Centered Discipleship
Are you growing as a radical follower of Jesus Christ?
We at Valley are committed to being a disciple-making church. Healthy things are growing and changing. Jesus’ people are no exception. That means that on your journey of following Jesus Christ as His disciple we take seriously our responsibility to help you grow up in Christ Jesus. Growing in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ is the pathway of life and joy and fulfillment Jesus commissions us as a church to make disciples teaching them to obey all that He commands of us (Mt. 28:20). In other words we are to help people become and grow as Jesus’ followers. This disciple-making ministry is the calling of the church (Mt 28:16-20; Ephesians 4:11-16). Therefore at Valley we are striving to equip everyone through the teaching of the Word of God in order to help everyone grow up as joy filled, obedient followers of Jesus Christ.

Gospel-Centered Mission
Are you on mission with Jesus in your everyday life?
Healthy organisms not only grow but they also reproduce. At Valley we desire to be a church that multiplies disciples of Jesus Christ, gospel community groups, worshiping congregations, campuses, and churches in order to see the gospel Kingdom of Jesus advance in our time and town and beyond. We want to be a part of a gospel advancing movement in our day. We desire that all our ministries here at Valley be disciple-making, missional ministries helping you to be Jesus’ ambassador in your everyday life.
